iPhone 3GS wait....

I ordered myself a iPhone 3GS 32GB Black a week before the official release here in Norway and I've yet to receive my phone :(

I spoke to my phone supplier earlier today and they told me that there is more than 30k units on back order from Telenor and last week Telenor shipped a whopping 1k units to their vendors nationwide.

Supposedly end of next week they'll be getting *maybe* 10k units to ship to their vendors, but that still doesn't bode too well for me getting my phone anytime soon. In fact I was told that I shouldn't really be expecting to see my phone until sometime in October :(

Not exactly the way I had hoped this phone upgrade would go down....
